The Official Testing DTM event at Oschersleben brings top-tier GT racing action to the Motorsport Arena Oschersleben in Germany. This pre-season test gives teams and drivers valuable track time to prepare for the upcoming DTM season. The Oschersleben circuit features a technical 3.696 km layout with 14 turns and 23 meters of elevation changes, providing teams with diverse challenges during Official Testing.
Seven manufacturers participate in the DTM Oschersleben event: Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Ford, Lamborghini, McLaren, and Porsche. Notable teams include Manthey EMA with their three-car lineup, Schubert Motorsport running BMW M4 GT3 EVOs, Comtoyou Racing, Land-Motorsport, and Emil Frey Racing. Reigning DTM champion Mirko Bortolotti joins established stars like René Rast, Marco Wittmann, and Thomas Preining on the Oschersleben circuit.
The DTM Oschersleben test allows teams to work with the Pirelli tires and fine-tune their GT3 cars. Schubert Motorsport focuses on adapting to the BMW M4 GT3 EVO version, while Manthey EMA conducts simulator sessions to improve their understanding of the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Motorsport Arena Oschersleben has hosted DTM races since 2000, with an average attendance of 64,000 spectators. The circuit opened in 1997 as the first permanent race facility in former East Germany.
