The moto2 class offers a level playing field, as all teams utilize the same electronic management system and allocate 8 front and 9 rear tires per race weekend. Italtrans Racing Team's history traces back to 2001 when they sponsored Roberto Locatelli, building towards their own team in 2010 after two-stroke engines were replaced. Their biggest success came in 2020 with Enea Bastianini's Moto2 World Championship win.
