About Aprilia launch

The Aprilia launch marks a significant new chapter for the Italian manufacturer in MotoGP. The event showcases the RS-GP25, a completely redesigned motorcycle that represents Aprilia's strongest bid yet for championship success. The Aprilia launch features the presentation of their impressive rider lineup, headed by reigning world champion Jorge Martín who brings the prestigious #1 plate to the team.

For the first time in its MotoGP history, Aprilia Racing will field four bikes in identical top-level specification on the grid. The factory team pairs Martín with talented Italian Marco Bezzecchi, while the Trackhouse MotoGP Team brings Raúl Fernández together with rookie sensation Ai Ogura, the 2024 Moto2 World Champion.

The RS-GP25 motorcycle sits at the center of the Aprilia launch with its V4 90° engine producing over 280 horsepower. Aprilia has made major improvements to the chassis, electronics, and aerodynamics. The development team at Noale, led by new Technical Director Fabiano Sterlacchini, has created a package built to compete at the front in both Sprint races and Grand Prix events.

Aprilia's MotoGP journey spans decades, beginning in Grand Prix racing in 1985 and entering the premier class in 1994. The manufacturer has earned 54 world titles, including 38 in road racing. The brand made history in 2010 when it surpassed MV Agusta to become the most successful motorcycle racing brand ever with its 276th victory.

The Aprilia launch demonstrates the company's complete commitment to MotoGP success. With a balanced combination of champion riders, promising talent, and cutting-edge motorcycle technology, the 2025 season promises to be Aprilia's strongest showing yet in the premier class of motorcycle racing.
