βΉοΈ About Lime Rock
The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series comes to Lime Rock Park with the LiUNA! 150 race in 2025. This 150-mile contest features 100 laps around Lime Rock's 1.53-mile natural terrain road course. Fans can watch the action live on FOX as trucks navigate the seven challenging turns of this historic Connecticut track.
Lime Rock Park, set in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains, welcomes NASCAR back after a 14-year absence. The track first hosted NASCAR events in 1993, with 20 races held until 2011. This 2025 event marks the first time the NASCAR Truck Series will compete at Lime Rock.
The NASCAR trucks at Lime Rock Park will feature powerful 358 cubic inch V8 engines and 4-speed manual transmissions. These purpose-built racing machines combine raw power with the handling needed for Lime Rock's technical layout.
Lime Rock offers a unique viewing experience for fans. Unlike most NASCAR venues, Lime Rock Park has no permanent grandstands. Visitors bring chairs and blankets to create their own viewing areas around the track. This tradition creates a festival atmosphere throughout the property.
Owned by Skip Barber and partly by NASCAR personality Parker Kligerman, Lime Rock Park opened in 1957. It stands as the third oldest continuously operating road racing venue in America. The track follows a tradition of no racing on Sundays and was built using advanced road safety principles.
The track continues to improve with extensions to pit lane and additional safety features specifically for the NASCAR Truck Series race. Between 12,000 and 15,000 fans are expected to attend this landmark event at Lime Rock.
Notable NASCAR drivers who have competed at Lime Rock include Austin Dillon and Joey Logano. The 2025 race promises to add new names to the list of competitors who have tested their skills on this challenging road course.
