The F1 Academy returns to the Miami International Autodrome in 2025, bringing top female racing talent to the vibrant Miami racing scene. This prestigious event features 18 drivers competing in two action-packed races at the purpose-built 3.363-mile circuit surrounding Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

F1 Academy competitors will race Tatuus-built cars powered by 1.4-litre turbocharged engines capable of speeds up to 150 mph. The Miami International Autodrome presents unique challenges with its 19 turns and elevation changes, particularly between Turns 13 and 16 where the track passes over an exit ramp and under flyovers.

Six professional teams participate in the F1 Academy Miami event: ART, Campos, Rodin Carlin, MP Motorsport, Prema, and Hitech. Each team fields three cars with drivers supported by Formula 1 teams and sponsors including American Express, Charlotte Tilbury, PUMA, Tommy Hilfiger and TAG Heuer.

The 2025 racing format introduces an exciting reverse grid system. The top eight qualifiers start Race 1 in reverse order, while Race 2 follows the original qualifying results. This format creates varied racing scenarios and tests drivers' skills across different starting positions.

The Miami International Autodrome, first opened in 2022, represents one of 11 different American venues to host Formula 1 racing. While temporary in nature, the circuit delivers a permanent racing feel with its professional design and construction. F1 Academy first competed at this Miami venue in 2024, adding to the track's growing legacy.
