Established by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), the Asian Le Mans Series emerged as the successor to the Japan Le Mans Challenge. After initial attempts in the early 2000s, the series found its footing with a successful relaunch in 2013, creating a strong platform for endurance racing in Asia and the Middle East.

Racing Format

The series features multiple classes including LMP2, LMP3, and GT categories, following similar regulations to the European Le Mans Series. Each entry requires a mix of professional and amateur drivers, with an emphasis on developing Asian talent. Winners earn coveted automatic invitations to the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans.
