Sporting Director

Team Personnel

A Sporting Director is a senior team member who manages the operational, regulatory, and governance aspects of a motorsport team, ensuring compliance with sporting regulations while optimizing performance.

Working closely with the Team Principal, the Sporting Director serves as the primary liaison between the team and governing bodies like the FIA. They interpret complex regulations, represent the team in official meetings, and advocate for the team's interests when regulatory issues arise.

The Sporting Director also oversees trackside operations, including logistics, pit stop strategies, and personnel management. They coordinate communication between different departments, support drivers, and contribute to the team's strategic planning to improve overall performance both on and off the track.
