ℹ️ About Albert Park

The FIA Formula 3 Championship comes to Albert Park Circuit in Australia for a groundbreaking race weekend. This historic event marks the first time F3 has kicked off its season at the famous Melbourne street circuit, introducing fans to the brand new Formula 3 car. The Albert Park F3 race features cars running on 100% sustainable fuel and larger 16-inch Pirelli tires, showcasing the future of motorsport technology.

Albert Park Circuit offers drivers a unique challenge with its 5.278 km layout consisting of 14 turns. The track combines public roads that encircle Albert Park Lake with dedicated racing surfaces, creating a fast and technical driving experience. Recent modifications to the circuit have enhanced overtaking opportunities, promising close racing action throughout the F3 field.

Fans attending the Albert Park F3 event will witness 30 talented young drivers competing in identical Dallara F3 2025 chassis. These cars deliver impressive performance with their Mecachrome 3.4-liter V6 engines producing 380 horsepower. The F3 machines reach speeds up to 300 km/h and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.0 seconds.

The race weekend follows the standard F3 format with practice, qualifying, sprint race, and feature race. The Albert Park Circuit has a rich motorsport history dating back to the 1950s, with the modern configuration hosting racing since 1996. The track is known for its slippery surface early in the weekend as it transforms from public roads to racing circuit.

This Albert Park F3 race serves as a proving ground for future Formula 1 stars. Past F3 champions have gone on to secure seats at the highest level of motorsport. The Australian event provides these young drivers with valuable experience on one of the most popular circuits in the calendar while offering fans the chance to see tomorrow's racing heroes today.
