ℹ️ About Toronto

The Ontario Honda Dealers Indy Toronto returns to Exhibition Place from July 18-20, 2025. This NTT IndyCar Series race features 90 laps on the 1.786-mile street circuit, totaling 160.72 miles of racing action. The Toronto IndyCar event showcases the challenging 11-turn temporary street course that combines asphalt and concrete surfaces through Toronto's Exhibition Place grounds.

The Exhibition Place circuit offers multiple passing zones, including the long front stretch leading to the Princes' Gates at Turn 1 and the Lakeshore Boulevard straight before Turn 3. Fans can watch drivers tackle the technical "esses" section at Turns 9, 10, and 11, where race strategy often determines the winner.

Drivers will compete in Dallara chassis powered by Chevrolet or Honda engines. The 2025 race introduces hybrid technology with an added 120 horsepower boost, bringing total power output to 800 horsepower when combined with Push to Pass. Firestone supplies all tires, with teams now receiving five sets each of primary and alternate compounds for the Toronto event.

The Toronto IndyCar race boasts a rich history dating back to 1986 as the Molson Indy Toronto. It stands as the second-longest running street race in IndyCar behind only Long Beach. Racing at Exhibition Place goes even further back, with auto events held on these grounds since 1918.

Michael Andretti holds the record with seven Toronto wins, while Chip Ganassi Racing leads all teams with eight victories. The race ranks as one of Canada's largest annual sporting events. FOX will broadcast all 2025 NTT IndyCar Series races, with additional streaming available on the FOX Sports app.

The Toronto IndyCar weekend promises close racing and championship implications as drivers battle on one of the most technical street circuits in North America. The combination of long straights and tight corners creates perfect conditions for side-by-side racing and strategic battles that keep fans on the edge of their seats.
