ℹ️ About Hungarian GP
The Hungarian GP makes its highly anticipated return to the MotoGP calendar in 2025 at the new Balaton Park Circuit. This premier motorcycle racing event brings the world's fastest riders to Hungary after a 33-year absence. The Balaton Park track features 18 technical corners across its 4.08 km layout, designed by Hungarian engineer Ferenc Gulacsi with MotoGP-specific modifications by Loris Capirossi. Fans will witness powerful 1000cc prototype machines reaching incredible speeds as they compete on this challenging circuit. The venue sits near Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe, creating a stunning backdrop for the action. Balaton Park offers excellent viewing facilities with a standard capacity of 10,000, expandable to 120,000 with additional grandstands. The circuit includes 48 pit garages, VIP areas, and an on-site four-star hotel overlooking the track. Hungary has racing history with previous Grand Prix events held at the Hungaroring in 1990 and 1992, plus celebrated Hungarian rider Gábor Talmácsi's 125cc World Championship in 2007. This Hungarian GP represents an important addition to the MotoGP series, bringing top-level motorcycle racing to a new generation of Hungarian fans. The August 2025 race weekend promises outstanding competition as riders adapt to this fresh challenge on the MotoGP calendar.
