ℹ️ About Sepang

The Sepang International Circuit hosts the thrilling Super GT race, bringing world-class motorsport action to Malaysia. This prestigious event features two racing classes - GT500 and GT300 - competing simultaneously on the challenging 5.543 km circuit. Fans witness powerful GT500 machines with 2.0-liter turbocharged engines producing over 550 horsepower, while the diverse GT300 class showcases cars from Japanese and European manufacturers.

Sepang International Circuit offers perfect conditions for Super GT racing with its 15 turns, wide straights, and technical layout that tests drivers' skills. The circuit's design allows for multiple overtaking opportunities, creating close racing throughout the 300km distance. The unique tropical climate adds another challenge, with teams preparing for both dry conditions and sudden rain showers.

The Super GT at Sepang brings together top racing teams from Japan and international competitors. Each car features two drivers who share driving duties during the race. The weight handicap system makes the competition more balanced, as successful cars receive extra weight to level the playing field. This creates unpredictable racing where different teams have chances to shine.

Visitors to the Sepang Super GT event can enjoy both racing action and cultural experiences. The Japanese cultural festival runs alongside the race weekend, offering food, entertainment, and activities for all ages. The event also features the GR86 Cup Series Malaysia, providing additional racing entertainment. Fans can choose from various viewing options, including the K1 Grandstand and Main Grandstand, to watch the fastest GT cars in the world battle on this famous circuit.
