The Fuji II Super GT race brings high-speed motorsport action to the iconic Fuji International Speedway. This prestigious event features Japan's premier racing series with GT500 and GT300 class competitions. Fuji International Speedway sits in the shadow of Mount Fuji in Shizuoka Prefecture. The circuit boasts 16 technical turns including the famous 100R corner. Drivers face one of motorsport's longest straights at 1.475 km, creating perfect opportunities for overtaking and high-speed racing. Toyota owns this world-class facility, which holds FIA Grade 1 certification.
The Super GT Fuji II event showcases 43 cars across two classes. The GT500 category features 15 entries with six Toyota GR Supra GT500s, five Honda Civic Type R-GTs, and four Nissan Z NISMO GT500s. The GT300 class brings 28 diverse entries with 13 different models from ten manufacturers, using either FIA GT3 or GTA-GT300 rules.
GT500 cars use 2-liter turbocharged engines with strict fuel flow restrictions to balance performance. The GT300 class offers more variety with production-based GT3 cars competing alongside Japan-specific GT300 machines.
