Formula 2 - Imola

The FIA Formula 3 Championship returns to the historic Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola. This F3 race supports the Formula 1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and features a packed schedule with practice, qualifying, sprint race, and feature race sessions.

The Imola circuit offers drivers a challenging 4.909 km layout with 21 corners in an anti-clockwise direction. Famous for its technical sections and elevation changes, the track tests both driver skill and car setup. F3 competitors will navigate the same legendary corners that have defined Imola's racing legacy since 1953.

Ten teams compete in the F3 Imola event, with three cars each. Notable teams include PREMA Racing, Trident, ART Grand Prix, and Campos Racing. Rising stars like Brando Badoer, Noel León, Noah Strømsted, and Rafael Câmara showcase their talents on this prestigious circuit.

All competitors race identical Dallara F3 2025 chassis powered by 3.4-litre Mecachrome V6 engines producing 380 HP. Pirelli supplies the tires, with each driver receiving four sets of dry-weather tires and two sets of wet-weather options for the weekend.

F3 racing at Imola began in 2022, adding a new chapter to the circuit's rich motorsport history. The track, named after Enzo Ferrari and his son Dino, holds special significance as Ferrari's home circuit. Past F3 winners at Imola include Oliver Goethe and Sami Meguetounif.

The DRS zones around the Imola circuit create opportunities for overtaking, while the anti-clockwise layout offers a different challenge compared to most Formula 3 venues. This F3 event promises competitive racing from the next generation of motorsport talent at one of racing's most storied locations.
